Cancellations & refunds

A pending booking that has not been paid can be released. The slot goes back on the trip. Nothing is charged.

Pheaks charges one thing: the convenience fee, once per slot. Trip money (the downpayment and the balance) goes straight to the organizer, on a payment channel from their profile, or in cash at the jump-off. Pheaks never receives it, never holds it, and therefore cannot refund it.

You may cancel a Reserved booking before the trip's call time. Your slot and seat are released. If Pheaks charged a convenience fee on that booking, it keeps it. That paid for the reserved slot.

Whatever you already sent the organizer is refunded, or not, under the organizer's own cancellation terms. That is a matter between you and them. Screen an organizer's ratings and their stated terms before you send a downpayment.

An Attended booking cannot be cancelled. You were on the trip.

Cancelling a listing does not rewrite your ticket. You can still see that the trip was called off. If Pheaks charged a convenience fee on that Reserved booking, it refunds it. You did not get a trip, so you should not have paid for the slot.

The trip money is the organizer's to return, and they are required to return it. An organizer who cancels a date owes back every peso they collected for it. If they do not, tell us. That is grounds for removing them from Pheaks, though Pheaks cannot recover the money on your behalf.

Walk-in heads the organizer adds each take a slot. When a convenience fee is due, the organizer owes one per head, and a head whose fee is still unsettled can be released, which frees the slot. Disputes about cash or GCash sent outside Pheaks are between you and the organizer.
